            Whats with the trail theme?

            When Don is not developing Windows Device Drivers, he is busy designing and building trails in the communities west of Boston. For the last fifteen years Don has been known as the Father of the Charm Bracelet, referring to the a 28 mile loop and a network of trails in Westborough, Massachusetts.

            This work lead Don to be active in the effort to connect the communities of Marlborough, Southborough, Westborough and Northborough with a loop trail.

            About five years ago, Don proposed a multi-use trail from Framingham, MA to Worcester, MA known as the . At present the various towns are investigating or actively acquiring the right of way for the trail.

            As a board member of Don is actively engaged in developing a paddling trail and a greenway along the Assabet River.
